Aam Aadmi Party’s national executive member Ashwini Upadhyay has revealed that his party has struck a secret deal with Congress to stop BJP’s victory.
According to Upadhyay, it has been agreed between the two parties that Congress would support AAP to make Arvind Kejriwal the Chief Minister of Delhi and Yogendra Yadav as the CM of Haryana if they, in lieu of support to Rahul Gandhi’s name for Prime Ministership in case of a hung Lok Sabha.
Updhaya has added that a meeting of the senior members of the two parties tookplace at Aman Hotel in 2013 where the deal was struck.
It is significant to note in the light of Upadhyay’s allegations that earlier former BJP president Nitin Gadkari had made similar claims against AAP and Congress when Kejriwal had formed Government in Delhi with outside support of Congress.
